Nevada troopers say they believe alcohol was involved in a crash that killed an 18-year-old and injured two other young men in Elko County over the weekend, . on October 4. Nevada Highway Patrol officials say the crash happened a little before 3 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 80 near the Carlin Tunnels.

Troopers say a 1981 Chevy pickup drifted into the median before the driver overcorrected and flipped over.

All three men were ejected, and Carlin resident Jeremiah Stills died of his injuries at the scene.

Eighteen-year-old Caleb Collins of Baldwin City, Kansas, and 22-year-old Asay Crofts of Carlin were taken to University of Utah Hospital with serious injuries.
