A Pilot Valley man was arrested last week after being caught on video vandalizing his ex-girlfriend’s car.
According to West Wendover police reports Wesley Dunster,, 23, of Pilot Valley was arrested for slashing the tires on his girl friend’s car. According to the report officers responded to the Red Garter casino parking lot to take a report on a vehicle vandalism. Upon arrival they met with the victim who had found the tires flattened on her vehicle.
The victim had the same acts happen several times over the past month and suspected that an ex boyfriend (Wesley Dunster) was the person causing the damage to her vehicle. Dunster had sent text messages to the victim suggesting that he would cause damage to her vehicle. On this occasion several other vehicles including hers were damaged, having all the tires slashed.
After interviewing witnesses and watching surveillance footage of the incident, the officers went to Dunster’s residence to conduct an interview. While at the residence they located evidence and clothing that matched what was found on scene, as well as what was described by witnesses and depicted on surveillance.
Dunster was taken into custody for the injury to property and well as stalking.
