The Elko County Art Club annually sponsors an art scholarship competition. In the past they have given three scholarships, but were only able to sponsor two this year. For nine out of the past ten years one or two of our West Wendover student artists have won the scholarship. This year is no exception, we are proud to say that McKenna Bair is one of the winners. She is a senior who says that she has been drawing as long as she can remember. One of her future goals is to go to college to study to be an art teacher.
