a letter to the editor Written by Leslie Stewart, on 30-05-2007 17:18 Dear Letter to the Editor of High Desert Advocate,  The date today is May 29th, 2007.     It’s taken me two days since Jeremy Cook’s graduation to even be able to respond to this so-called memorial, published by this so-called newspaper.    First…I find it absolutely appalling that our “so-called” hometown newspaper would reduce one of our own children to this.   Contrary to the “ALMIGHTY” advocate (NOT), which obviously never talked to anyone “IN THE KNOW” OUR Jeremy age 18, Of Pilot Valley left us on Friday, May 18th on his way HOME. He was SO loved by family, friends, and extended family between Wendover, Pilot Valley and Montello.     If anyone I have ever known lived life to its max, it was our Jeremy…Pushing the envelope always, always with that sparkle in his eye.    Yes, our Jeremy was all boy, there’s no doubt about it, but there is also no question, he was one of our beautiful kids, (all of ours). We were lucky enough to have him touch our lives.    I pity you [advocate] you’ll never know and us we’ll never tell….We’ll never forget you Jeremy, we love you and we’ll keep you close. “Rock on”      Leslie Stewart  Montello, NV    R.I.P.    nullnullnull
