![]() Six months after he was formally arrested and over a year after the initial investigation Ace Green entered his guilty plea on two counts of felony child sexual abuse in Elko District Court. In his hearing now being webcast on www.coyote-tv.com, Green admits in a hushed tone to committing at least two counts of forcible sexual child abuse to Judge andrew Puccinelli and is told he could face a prison sentence as long as six years. However barring something unforeseen in his evaluation by the Department of Parole and Probation, Green could see very little if any time in jail. According to a plea agreement worked out between Green’s attorney David Lockie and Assistant Elko District Attorney Mark Torvinen the state will not actively seek prison time. Green a 2006 WWHS graduate was a star on the football team and an Olympic class marksman. While Green pled guilty to just two counts his formal plea implies there could have been many more incidences of abuse in the year and a half the abuse was said to occur. The fact that Green may not serve a day in prison and instead serve probation could also become a campaign issue in this year’s election which its Torvinen the architect of the agreement against Judge Michael Memeo who has been known to criticize and sometimes out right reject plea bargains he deemed too lenient. Green will be sentnced on July 28.
