Companies owned by the Peppermill Casino Corporation took the first and third spots as the top property owner in the county.
According to the Elko County Assessors office Peppermill Properties had the top valuation at $47.34 million. The company includes the Peppermill and Rainbow Casinos. In third place was Wendover Casinos company which owns the Montego Bay at $26.44 million. at over $70 million in valuation the Peppermill owned properties is almost double the second most valued property of $35.5 million of Barrick Goldstrike Mine.
In fourth came another Wenoder casino company Generation 2000 ower of the Nugget at $19.5 million, followed by jackpots Cactus Pete’s at $17.41 million, Newmont Mines at $16.5 million, Elko Acquisitin (Red lion Properties) at $11.5 million.
Elko County’s total assessed valuation grew from $876,608,580 last year to $932,900,482 this year. Only registered users can write comments.
