West Wendover Elementary School, had an assembly two weeks ago, about the new school. Mayor Emily Carter who was in attendance welcomed everyone to the assembly. Ascent Construction who is building the new Elementary school in Wendover and was at the assembly, brought everyone new school t-shirts. They also did a presentation comparing the foundation of learning and education to the foundation of a building and the importance of making that foundation strong for the future. There was also a slideshow with pictures of the new building. “WWES would like to thank Ascent for their new shirts and for building our school. It’s going to be a beautiful edifice and we are looking forward for many great years of learning” says Vice-Principal Brenda Carter.
