The West Wendover High School Commencements last Friday, June 9, had the biggest Graduating Class since the beginning of the School: 72 graduates. It was a real success, as almost everybody graduated. Many applied and received scholarships(photo credit Becky Lee Evans)

West Wendover High School’s commencement ceremony included speeches from senior valedictorian Louie Copelan and senior class president Cynthia Renoso, Principal Craig Kyllonen, guest speaker Mayor Daniel CoronaCorona, Keynote speaker Jerome Reamer(voted by the students). The presentation of the diplomas were by Councelor Carla Fritchie and Principal Craig Kyllonen, with the WWHS Band playing. The master of Ceremonies was Colton Smith. The seniors were ushered by Armando Gonzalez and Elijah Haynes. Miss Lysette Perez was also insuring the Seniors kept in order. Many parents, family and friends were in the audience and it was an emotional affair for everybody.
