INVITATION TO BID

 

The Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department (ESTHD) will receive Bids from Interested Licensed Contractor(s) for the “Trailer Lot Project” located on Heritage Drive in Ely, Nevada, at which time the Bid(s) will be received 4:00 p.m. local time on the 30th day of April, 2012 at the Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department, 201 Heritage Drive, Ely, Nevada 89301.

 

Interested Bidders to contact above Office for “Drawings and site layout” at The Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department Office, 201 Heritage Drive, Ely, Nevada  89301 or contact this Office by calling (775) 289-2319 for any questions. 

 

The “Trailer Lot Project” will consist of grading and graveling road to be located within Trailer Project and leveling 9 lots for the Trailers. 

 

The Bid will be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsible bidder. However, if fewer that two responsive bids are received, Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department may reject all bids, and will readvertise this Invitation for Bids.

 

The Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department.

 

Attention is called to the preference which shall be given to Indian-owned Enterprises as outlined in Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 450e(b) and in specification Packet in part “Instructions to Bidders for Contracts”. Section 7(b) provides that to the greatest extent feasible, preference and opportunities for training and employment shall be given to Indians; and preference in the award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Indian organizations and Indian-owned enterprises. Bidders claiming Indian preference to contact the Housing Department Office to complete an “Indian Enterprise Qualification Statement”.

 

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 10 days subsequent to the closing of bids without the consent of Ely Shoshone Tribe Housing Department.
