A Salt Lake tourist was arrested on a bevy of charges in the early morning hours of Sunday after he was originally stopped for driving without headlights in Wendover.
Visan Ieremia, aged 25, was taken to the Elko County Jail on a total combined bail of $8,062 on eight different charges the least of which was the original driving without headlights.
Ieremia was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, and driving with an open container of alcohol.
It is unknown whether Ieremia was wearing a seat belt at the time of his arrest.
