The WWHS wrestling team place 6th at state overall with Heavy Weight Moises Prieto coming ever so close to taking the state crown. Prieto lost in sudden death overtime to get the silver medal. Three other Wolverine grapplers came home with hardware. Danny Galavais took 3rd lace in the 195 lb weight class. Gary Riptoe placed 4th in the 220 lb class and Rustin Rubino took 4th in the 165 lb class. The team is coached by Mike Beardall and Allen Riptoe.
