There will be primary elections for both White Pine County Commission seats this year.
County Commissioner Mike Lemich will face off against Gary Perea and George Chachas and fellow incumbent John Lampros will see Carol McKenzie and Chris Dailey. Both commissioners were subjects of recall petitions last summer.
White Pine County Sheriff Dan Watts will have to defend his office in a summer primary with two challengers, Steve Marquez and Penny Jo Robison and there will be a primary also in the race for County Clerk between Nichole Baldwin, Patrice Lytle, Debra Rivero and Beth Rose.
The County Assessor race is also a race with Debbie Underwood and Burton Hilton so far filed as is the one for District Attorney between Kelly C. Brown and Michael A. Wheable.
