West Wendover High School had four entries for the Elko County Art Club Scholarships and made the competition very tough not only for each other, but for the whole school district. Natali Soriano and Catherine Weyland won two of the three $1000.00 scholarships given. The other two competitors were Jacqueline Gonzalez and Xena Mayle. “I’m glad that I wasn’t one of the judges.” comments Mrs. Bishop, West Wendover Art Teacher.
