On September 28, thirteen years after 9/11, a man, Farrokh Namiri, made several comments about killing Americans, at the Peppermill Casino, in Wendover Nevada. Commenting more than once about killing Americans, the security guards had been called to remove this individual. While security was speaking with Mr. Namiri he became combative and allegedly struck a security guard. He was then detained and secured into handcuffs while police were summoned to assist. While with the police officers, Mr.Namiri became less physically combative, however he continued to make comments regarding recent terrorist events that have taken place. Mr.
Farrokh Namiri made suggestive comments that these same events would
occur again by him and all of Iran. Mr. Namiri was transferred to the Elko county jail. The comments that Mr. Namiri made were documented and forwarded to the federal authorities for further investigation, said the West Wendover Police Department.
