In these uncertain times, one thing remains true. Our families are more important than ever. It has long been known that eating dinner together strengthens families, bringing parents and children closer together. Research shows that the more often kids eat meals with their parents, the more likely they are to resist negative influences and avoid using harmful substance like alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

That’s why PACE Coalition and the Wendover Prevention Group invite you to our 2020 Save Family Dinner event, Wednesday, September 9th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at West Wendover Middle School, 2000 Elko Avenue. We’re keeping it safe. Simply drive by each of our hosts’ tables where you will receive ingredients for a complete spaghetti dinner with past, sauce, vegie, and dinner bread and it’s all free.

Just for coming, your family will be entered into a drawing for one of several prizes. For an added bonus, at each table you will see signs with highlighted letters that, when unscrambled, spell out a special message for families. Solve the puzzle and receive another drawing entry.

Bring the kids and make it an evening of fun for the whole family. It’s safe and it’s free
