Programming at Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko will get a boost thanks to the Nevada Mining Association’s “Hope for Heat” campaign, which will donate $6,570, or $90 for every day local temperatures topped 90 degrees during the hot summer of 2020.

On Thursday, September 24, Nevada Mining Association Tyre Gray visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko to present a check that will support the work of a great community organization.

“Few nonprofits in Nevada have worked as quickly as Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko to adapt to support the needs of local kids and families,” said Gray. “Providing a healthy, safe environment for students to learn is critical to our entire community.”
