Fueling Veteran Hiring with Military’s Diverse Talent Pool: SoCal Virtual Career Fair for Veterans

The second largest organization in our country employs the most diverse workforce in the world. The United States Military strongly relies on diversity among its ranks with 43% of personnel represented by minorities. This widely diverse talent pool will one day transition from military to civilian employment bringing unmatched talent to America’s employers.  One organization is paving the pathway to connect them now: RecruitMilitary.

·        RecruitMilitary was recently appointed by the U.S. Army to serve as the sole transition resource for soldiers and their family members seeking civilian employment after military service.

·        The company not only knows the value of the military’s diverse ranks, it lives this philosophy as 85% of its employees possess a military trained or affiliated background.

“We’ve seen a ripple effect over the past few years of organizations across the country prioritizing diversity and veteran hiring because they see the value of bringing this type of talent to shape the future of their organization,” said Tim Best, RecruitMilitary CEO and former U.S. Army special forces attack helicopter pilot. “Working in this field for more than 20 years following a career in the military has given me the perspective of understanding what companies need to succeed when it comes to employing the best of the best.  Military trained job candidates are an unmatched asset to any employer seeking diversity and hiring solutions with the most highly skilled and qualified workers in the country.”

Veteran’s Day is an ideal time for American organizations to not only appreciate and recognize the work of our nation’s servicemembers past and present, but more importantly a time to consider the value these workers bring to civilian organizations nationwide. It is also an ideal time for these employers to seek new and successful ways of recruiting and retaining top tier military trained talent.

I’d like to connect you with Event Director Adam O’Toole who is also a U.S. Army veteran, to discuss exactly how this Virtual Career Fair (https://recruitmilitary.careereco.com/Fair/EventDetails?fairId=7b5f6f89-4fc9-47e7-a427-abcf015b0463) is sustaining the need for employment exploration and job security for these transitioning military service members, military spouses and veterans.  Event details are included below.
