Elko Police Department (EPD) says they arrested a man Feb. 14 after he reportedly touched a female juvenile employee and removing his genitals from his pants. Witnesses say Andreen dropped to his knees and allegedly removed his genitals from his pants and began stimulating himself in front of patrons. Children were reportedly present. 

Elko Police Officers say that Walker Andreen, 29-year-old of Cypress, California entered an Elko restaurant around 8:45 p.m. and reportedly began touching the arm and chest of a female juvenile employee against her wishes. 

Witnesses say Andreen dropped to his knees and allegedly removed his genitals from his pants and began stimulating himself in front of patrons. Children were reportedly present. 

Officials say patrons restrained Andreen and held him for police. Andreen was arrested for indecent exposure and disturbing the peace.

An additional charge of simple battery is being sought for the allegation that Andreen placed his hands on the female juvenile employee against her will.

     A New Hampshire man is facing charges of lewdness with a young girl that occurred in the span of  eght months or more.

        David Y. Putney, 71, of Nashua, New Hampshire was booked into the Elko County Jail Saturday on two counts of lewdness with a child under 14 years of age. According to court documents filed in Elko Justice Court on Jan. 6, 2020, the victim told law enforcement in Florida about the incidents which occurred within an eight month span starting in 2018 and ending in 2019.

Putney allegedly committed the crime in a motel located in Elko, she told Florida authorities.

     According to the police report, the girl’s adult siblings were interviewed by a detective in Florida, who said they confronted Putney with the allegations “and he admitted to the conduct, although stating it only occurred on one occasion.” Putney was jailed with a bail set at $500,000.
