With demand for assault type rifles at fever pitch these could very well be the last of their kind for retail sale in all of eastern Nevada or western Utah. Better Deal partner Humberto Cervantes told the High Desert Advocate that once these two rifles are sold it will be a long wait before new ones become available. A survey of gun stores from Tooele, Utah to Elko to Ely found not a single military assault type rifle available Wednesday. According to other news sources some gun manufacturers such as Colt and Ruger have notified retailers there could be as long as a year back log for weapons as well as magazines and ammunition.
