This years Wells Rural Electric BBQ was a huge success! It just keeps getting better and better! The BBQ is a wonderful time to not only support programs at WWHS but also to come together as a community! Wells Rural Electric Homecoming BBQ has been a blessing for our programs. Our Advisors/Coaches intended to use their money to purchase much needed equipment and supplies to help build stronger programs. With the money Booster Club has received they will continue to support ALL students at West Wendover High. Clubs, teams, and individual students are able to put in request for various items through the Booster Club. The following groups received $300: FBLA, SKILLS, FCCLA, Art, Music, Wrestling, Student Council, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Cheerleading, Football, and JAG. The following groups won additional money for their programs because of their display boards: Soccer 1st Place $200, Cheerleading 2nd Place $150, JAG/Football Tied 3rd Place $100 each. WWHS General Funds received $2,000. WWHS Booster Club received $6,640. GRAND TOTAL: $12,790
