The University of Nevada, Reno’s eighth annual Nevada Scholars Signing Days ceremonies conclude in northern Nevada with an event at Reno High School. Two National Merit Scholarship Finalists and nine Presidential Scholars were recognized in the signing-day ceremony, June 1st. These Reno High scholars are joining nearly 20 other students who “signed” from various Washoe, Churchill, Douglas and Clark County schools at previous events this past month.

The University partners with area high schools for Nevada Scholars Signing Days, ceremonies reminiscent of high school athletes’ “signing days” to acknowledge the decision of these “best and brightest” scholars to pursue their college degrees in Nevada.

Eighth consecutive year of a “Nevada Scholars Signing Day” ceremony at Reno High School recognizing high-achieving 2016 graduates who will attend the University of Nevada, Reno.
