The Wendover High School track, Girls, went to BYU Utah. last Saturday, at the 1A state championships. As a team, they placed 5th, but Juliana Rojas, Verenice Garcia, Yulisa Castaneda and Alana Henderson combined to finish third.

1. Panguitch, 172; 2. Milford, 105; 3. Piute, 74; 4. Tabiona, 44; 5. Wendover, 38; 6. Rich, 37; 7. Monticello, 31.5; 8. Wayne, 29.

Individual results:

In the 400 meters,        Alana Henderson, from Wendover, placed 3rd with a 1:02.34 score. In the 200 meters, she placed 5th, with a 28.56 time.

In the 3,300 meters, Yanely Duenas, from Wendover, with a 12:54.33 time arrived 4th.

In the 4 x100 relay Wendover, arrived 3rd with a 53.85;

In the Sprint medley relay, Wendover arrived 3rd with a 4:44.42 time;

In Discus, Diana Solano, from Wendover, arrived 5th with a 9211 score, and her teammate Adriana Delgadillo, made 8th, with 8803.75.

In Shot put, again Adriana Delgadillo, from Wendover, 30’09, placed 8th.
